Bush and Blair—Private Conversation Overheard at G-8 Summit

Here is an interesting perspective on the recent incident at the G-8 summit on Monday, in which a private conversation between George Bush and Tony Blair, was picked up by a microphone, unintentionally left on. The author makes some good arguments that while the mainstream media has put a positive spin on this accidental broadcast of insider information, that the conversation actually reveals darker motives.

Personally, I believe that this was not an “unintentional” incident at all—rather, this was a carefully orchestrated event intended to re-inforce programming which justifies future conflicts with Syria and Iran. Here is the full transcript of the conversation.

What I can't figure out is why George drinks Diet Coke, as revealed by the exchange. Surely he knows that s——t is pure poison. Then again, if it’s good enough for the Secretary of Defense, then Bush must approve.

I have to disagree that this was intentional. How about Bush chomping away on that bagel while spewing nonsense to Blair? If any programming was going on here, it was that Bush is just a rich redneck who never learned to chew with his mouth closed. He's like the male Britney who went into politics instead of show biz.
