I think there are some really interesting points in the above article and found it very thought-provoking. The one thing I was struggling with slightly is what part the Illuminati are supposed to have had in the Da Vinci Code? Are you saying that the original book itself was in some way commissioned by them, that they were responsible for its success after it had been written, or do they just come into it at the stage of its being made into a blockbuster?

I believe that as long as the movie is promoted and marketed throughout the world that it is definitely a tool of a the ruling elite. Though the lines are unclear it is obvious that they want a new mindset in the masses of the people. In order to bring about change for the elite groups they always have two sides whether real or created. In this case it appears that there will be two sides of belief in the divinty of Jesus and the reality of religion and spirituality and the new "awakened" views of jesus's humaness. What better way to control than to attack the very essence of a person's being? The spiritual belief system of a person forms the person perception of his or her entire life. So what happens when that is shattered? What happens when it is revealed that everything that you've believed your enitire life is FALSE? I believe that that type of individual can be easily manipulated into anything else very quickly and immediately. This is because the masses have a need to believe in something that gives them their reason for existing.

Interesting, I have had similar suspicions about The Da Vinci Code. My research brought me here.
